24 December 1963 Tuesday evening about 18:00 in Nicosia Kumsal area 2 İrfanbey Street. Mürüvet İlhan mother and her 3 children 4 years old Kutsi, 6 years old Murat and 6 months old Hakan. Mürüvet mother heard shootings around her house, she knew who they were and immediately took her 3 children and hidden them in the bathroom thinking it's the safest place on the House but as the Militia learned that the House is Sergeant Dr Nihat İlhan's, they entered and began randomly bombarding in every room with bullets, they continued to the bathroom even they saw 6 months old baby was in there. 2 days later this photo taken by Memduh Erdal on 26 Dec 1963. The House is now a Museum called 'Museum of Barbarism'.
